I lead the project and worked on the portal strategy using the salesforce platform. Designed a user experience, visual design and reimagined the candidate journey on this project for Astriid.
On this particular project, I started as a business analyst, and transitioned into UX and UI designer whilst continuing as a project manager.
Astriid, embarked on their digital transformation journey to revamp their website with a vision to improve engagement and reach their targeted KPIs.

Reimagined User Journeys
User journeys – The journeys were crafted based on the learnings from the Astriid V1
The new and evolved Salesforce platform functionalities were leveraged to bring the candidates, companies and volunteers under one umbrella, improve processes and few build automations.
The Candidates Journeys were designed to
Manage expectations of the users during on-boarding process.

The community track was designed to provide a platform for individuals who are recuperating with long term illness to engage and interact with the community and update their profile as when they feel ready for work. A one-stop for accessing content, registering for webinars and getting updates on the latest events at Astriid.
The functional prototypes were built using Salesforce community builder.
The show and tell sessions helped to align the stakeholders with the re-imagined user journeys and key functionalities.
At this point, we reviewed the information architecture i.e.how to use the available content improve our content and structure the content, to improve user engagement.
Created a sitemap and decided on, how many screens are needed for MVP and testing.
Prioritised the tabs on the navigation bar as there are restrictions on the number of tabs when using SF community builder.

The challenge was to design the user journeys by leveraging the capabilities and features of Salesforce application with minimum or no customisation. Prioritising the features based on cost, effort and time was the way ahead.
As a business analyst and UX designer with knowledge of Salesforce capabilities and limitations, it was easy to estimate the time and effort in building with the native components.
Knowledge of Salesforce helped in collaborating with the developer team and share my vision.
The new journeys have improved the user experience and we have seen increase in registrations and candidates’ engagement .
